Linking Social-Media via graphic or text link

We also advertise on our website presences on the social networks listed below. The integration takes place via a linked graphic of the respective network. The use of this linked graphic prevents that when a website with a social media application is called up, a connection is automatically established to the respective server of the social network to display a graphic of the respective network itself. Only by clicking on the corresponding graphic is the user forwarded to the service of the respective social network. After the user is forwarded, information about the user is collected by the respective network. It cannot be excluded that the data collected in this way is processed in the USA. Initially, this is data such as IP address, date, time and visited page. If the user is logged into his user account of the respective network during this time, the network operator may be able to assign the collected information of the user’s specific visit to the user’s personal account. If the user interacts via a “share” button of the respective network, this information can be stored in the user’s personal user account and, if necessary, published. If the user wants to prevent the collected information from being directly assigned to his user account, he must log out before clicking on the graphic. There is also the possibility to configure the respective user account accordingly. The following social networks are integrated into our site through links:

“Facebook“ Social Plug-in

In our Internet presence we use the plugin of the social network Facebook. Facebook is an internet service of facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. In the EU, this service is in turn operated by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland, hereinafter both referred to as “Facebook” only. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our Internet presence. Further information about the possible plug-ins as well as their respective functions is available on Facebook at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. If the plug-in is stored on one of the pages you visit on our website, your Internet browser will download a representation of the plug-in from the Facebook servers in the USA. For technical reasons, it is necessary for Facebook to process your IP address. In addition, however, the date and time of your visit to our website are also recorded. If you are logged in to Facebook while visiting one of our Internet pages equipped with the plug-in, the information collected by the plug-in during your specific visit will be recognized by Facebook. Facebook may assign the information collected in this way to your personal user account there. For example, if you use the “Like” button on Facebook, this information is stored in your Facebook user account and, if applicable, published on the Facebook platform. If you wish to prevent this, you must either log out of Facebook before visiting our website or prevent the loading of the Facebook plug-in from being blocked by using an add-on for your Internet browser. Facebook provides further information about the collection and use of data as well as your rights and protection options in this regard in the data protection information available at https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics in our Internet presence. This is a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google”. Through the certification according to the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active Google guarantees that the data protection regulations of the EU are also observed when processing data in the USA. The Google Analytics service is used to analyze the usage behavior of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our Internet presence. Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, place, time or frequency of the visit to our website, is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymization function. With this function Google shortens the IP address already within the EU or EEA. The data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of the visit to our website and the usage activities there. This data can also be used to provide other services related to the use of our website and the use of the Internet. Google states that it will not connect your IP address with other data. In addition, Google provides you with further information on data protection law at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners, for example on the possibilities of preventing the use of data. In addition, Google offers a so-called deactivation add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de along with further information on this. This add-on can be installed with the most common Internet browsers and offers you further control options over the data that Google collects when you access our website. The add-on informs the JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that information about your visit to our website should not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services. Whether and which other web analysis services are used by us, you will of course also find out in this data protection declaration.

Google reCAPTCHA

In our internet presence we use Google reCAPTCHA to check and avoid interactions on our website through automated access, e.g. through so-called bots. This is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter only “Google”. By being certified according to the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active, Google guarantees that the data protection requirements of the EU are also complied with when processing data in the USA. This service enables Google to determine from which website an inquiry is sent and from which IP address you are using the so-called reCAPTCHA input box. In addition to your IP address, Google may also collect other information that is necessary to offer and guarantee this service. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the security of our Internet presence and in the prevention of unwanted, automated access in the form of spam or similar. Google offers further information on the general handling of your user data at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

You Tube

We use YouTube in our Internet presence. This is a video portal of YouTube LLC., 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, hereinafter only referred to as “YouTube”. YouTube is a subsidiary of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter only “Google”. By being certified in accordance with the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active, Google, and thus also its subsidiary YouTube, guarantees that the data protection requirements of the EU are also complied with when processing data in the USA. We use YouTube in connection with the “Enhanced Privacy Mode” function to show you videos. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our Internet presence. According to YouTube, the function “Extended Privacy Mode” has the effect that the data described in more detail below is only transmitted to the YouTube server when you actually start a video. Without this “Enhanced Privacy Mode”, a connection to the YouTube server in the USA is established as soon as you access one of our Internet pages on which a YouTube video is embedded. This connection is required in order to display the respective video on our website via your Internet browser. In the course of this, YouTube will at least record and process your IP address, the date and time, and the website you visited. Furthermore, a connection to the advertising network “DoubleClick” of Google will be established. If you are logged into YouTube at the same time, YouTube will assign the connection information to your YouTube account. If you wish to prevent this, you must either log out of YouTube before visiting our website or make the appropriate settings in your YouTube user account. For the purpose of functionality as well as for the analysis of usage behavior, YouTube permanently stores cookies via your internet browser on your end device. If you do not agree with this processing, you have the possibility to prevent the storage of cookies by changing the settings in your internet browser. You will find more information on this under “Cookies” above. Google provides further information about the collection and use of data and your rights and protection options in this regard in the data protection information available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
