Marquart Germany has been a specialist in chassis optimisation for commercial vehicles for more than 30 years – now in its second generation. It all began with heavy goods vehicles and special-purpose vehicles. Over the years, more and more smaller vehicle ranges have been added, including, nowadays, primarily motorhomes, as these too are special-purpose vehicles. Today, all types of vehicle – from pick-ups to airport fire engines – benefit from our decades of expertise in chassis optimisation for commercial vehicles.
Wobbling and swaying
Rocking, swaying, high sensitivity to crosswinds – some drivers fear their vehicle is about to tip over. This is because, for example, motorhomes are usually based on standard production chassis that were not designed for the tall bodywork and long overall length of a motorhome. Problems frequently arise, particularly with the vehicle’s horizontal movements – this is where our reinforced shock absorbers and chassis optimisations come into play.
Due to their design, our reinforced shock absorbers and suspension optimisations are better equipped to counteract the forces at play. They engage more quickly and prevent lateral rocking from the very first second. Marquart’s reinforced shock absorbers are – as the name suggests – designed to be more robust and feature fast-responding rebound and compression stages for enhanced performance. This helps to absorb the horizontal movements of the bodywork. A definite plus for driving safety.
With us, your vehicle takes centre stage. We provide each customer with detailed advice, tailored to their specific tuning requirements. The more we learn about your vehicle (overhang, weight distribution, previous modifications to the chassis), the better the tuning result will be. Should you not be satisfied with the tuning, you are welcome to swap it for a different tuning package.
We have the right shock absorbers for almost every type of vehicle in our extensive stock. As well as the Sprinter, Ducato and similar models, we usually stock suitable shock absorbers for discontinued models and even classic cars. And we can also customise shock absorbers.
With over 30 years’ experience in chassis optimisation for commercial vehicles, we have built up a wealth of innovative ideas for further developments. We are constantly optimising our range of shock absorbers by introducing new models and supplementing it with additional chassis components such as springs or air springs.
