Marquart shock absorbers were installed in our IVECO 70 Bimobil EX412 at the newly opened Marquart workshop in Löningen. The initial telephone consultation was very informative, and we had to fill out a questionnaire with various vehicle details. Mr Neumann provided detailed advice on site. The correct damper settings were found based on the vehicle weight and intended use. The installation was carried out very professionally and quickly. In addition, which was also very important to us, the torsion bar springs were adjusted correctly.

After a test drive, it was agreed that the dampers could be switched to a different damping level even after a longer journey. Mr Neumann’s advice was very comprehensive and helpful. The dampers were also installed very conscientiously and thoroughly.

We have now driven approximately 5,000 km on and off-road with our Marquart shock absorbers and are very satisfied with them. In our opinion, IVECOs should be equipped with Marquart shock absorbers when they are purchased new. The handling with Marquart shock absorbers and the adjustment of the torsion bar springs has improved enormously. Many thanks to Mr Neumann and the Marquart team.

‘On 13/03/2025, I had my old original Iveco shock absorbers replaced with Marquart shock absorbers at Iveco Georg Stark in Bamberg as part of the inspection, HU and AU. Thanks again to @ivecoStark for installing the dampers I supplied so unbureaucratically. And otherwise super nice staff. I chose the setting of stage 2 at the front and stage 4 at the rear on the recommendation of @marquardtstossdämpfer. Very good advice on the phone and fast shipping to the desired address. The suspension was also measured and adjusted.

Now our vehicle (Concorde 900M) handles like a completely different one. Super straight-line stability, no rocking and significantly less buckling over the front axle in curves. Simply more stable. I can’t feel any of the front axle penetrating at all, I even find the suspension more comfortable. In my opinion, a significant increase in driving safety. I can highly recommend it.’

“Yesterday I was able to install the new shock absorbers and also make a small but meaningful test drive. Our Iveco Daily 4×4 VM90 has a loaded weight of 2.5 tonnes on the rear axle and 1.8 tonnes on the front axle, which, when driving with the original shock absorbers, was previously no fun on winding roads and/or potholed roads. On our journey through Albania, the car regularly rocked so much on the roads and tracks that I sometimes had to brake down to 20 km/h. In bends, especially in roundabouts, it tilted so much over the front wheel suspension on the outside that I sometimes only moved at 10-15 km/h.

With the new dampers, that’s a thing of the past. Despite worn torsion bar springs, rubber bushings at the front and leaf springs at the rear, which have seen better days (both of which are replaced in winter), the driving behaviour is significantly improved. Potholes on the dirt roads are simply swallowed up by the dampers. I was very impressed. Next year, with new torsion bar springs, bushings and leaf springs, I expect a further improvement in handling. Thanks at this point for the quick and professional advice.“

“An experience of a new kind“

“Hello Mr Wördemann, I’m back from my holiday. A journey full of joy thanks to my new Marquart shock absorbers!!! I am a very conscious and reflective driver. I can hardly put into words what has happened to me thanks to you.

The journey started from Ancona to Rome. I drove up passes on narrow, small roads in poor condition and down again on the other side. Some of the roads were very bumpy, and sometimes the road suddenly dropped off sharply towards the edge of the carriageway. It was a new kind of experience for me. The high stability and smooth ride were new to me.

Off to Greece. We continued through northern Greece, partly on poor country roads up to 1700 metres above sea level and back down to sea level again. Once again, I enjoyed the driving behaviour of my Iveco.

For years I had improved my suspension with stronger spring packs, a 6t stabiliser bar, additional air springs and original 6t Iveco shock absorbers and have now installed their Marquart dampers on recommendation. An incredible change!!!

Back from Greece, we arrived in Bari and travelled via Naples to Florence. As we drove through the Apennines, I often overtook 40-tonne lorries and whenever I came out of their slipstream, the incredible, newfound smoothness and high driving stability became apparent.

Once, when I was overtaking a lorry in the middle lane, a large panel van overtook me at the same time at high speed in the left lane and when I drove out of the air roller of the lorry from the right, I also got the air roller of the panel van from the left. My Iveco drove straight ahead with stoic calm and I had a completely safe feeling. …

I have been driving my Iveco Turbo Daily for 21 years and have now reached the end of a long journey of changes to my chassis. I would like to express my pleasure and enthusiasm to you.
