“A completely different feeling”
The standard suspension was spongy and suffered from significant pitching along the longitudinal axis. It dived heavily under braking. Now, with the Marquart dampers, it feels completely different. Much more direct road feel, no more diving or pitching. Marquart has sent me the rear dampers again, this time with a higher tuning setting (4), to swap them in. This has improved comfort significantly without adding any stiffness. It remains a leaf-sprung truck with a short wheelbase, so it’s still no limousine, but it’s now got proper manners. Worth every penny!
P.S. I’ve also fitted front bump stops myself. They’re great too; I’ll be fitting them at the rear as well.
